About Succession Market
We help owners navigate the sale of their business, and buyers join our Buyers Market Club to see each new business first. We started in 2026, and we work from an office in Kelowna, British Columbia.

We help owners navigate the sale of their business
Most owners have never sold a business before. We prepare the sale with you, from the first number to the day it closes, and every decision stays yours.
For owners
We start with a free sale plan: what the business could sell for, as a range, and how we would take it to buyers. We build a confidential package from the owner's own statements, take it to our Buyers Market Club seven days before it can appear in public, and coordinate the sale process through to closing. The owner makes every decision.
For buyers
Buyers join our Buyers Market Club, free. Members see each new business seven days before the public, and every member signs our confidentiality agreement to join. A member can also tell us what they want to own, and we go and find the business they described.
Our Terms say it plainly: "We are not the agent of the seller or of any buyer, we do not act for or advise buyers, and we cannot bind either party." Where a sale includes real property or a lease assignment, a licensed commercial realtor handles that part of the deal, not us. Your lawyer papers the deal and your accountant advises on tax. Both are yours to choose.
Owners of established businesses, in every industry
We sell all types of businesses. Trades and services are our visible specialty, never the limit. We start in British Columbia and Alberta and work with owners across Canada.
Some places have a page of their own. In Alberta: selling in Calgary, Edmonton, and Lethbridge and Medicine Hat. In BC: Vancouver, Victoria, Nanaimo and the Island, the Fraser Valley, and Kelowna and the Okanagan.
How is Succession Market paid?
Owners pay nothing upfront. When a business sells, the owner pays Succession Market a success fee at closing: a share of the sale price, paid only if the business sells. The listing agreement sets out the fee before the owner signs. Buyers pay nothing: joining the Buyers Market Club is free, and our fee comes from the seller's side at closing.
How business broker fees work across Canada is in our guide, what a business broker does and what it costs.
Five steps, from your number to the close
Your number, your package, the Buyers Market Club, the offer and the close. What happens at each step, and who learns what and when, is on our page on how a sale works.
